Varun Dhawan will soon be seen in the high-octane action drama Baby John, which is all set to release on Christmas. Much to fans’ delight, the taster cut of the film was finally released by the makers today, and it was everything fans were hoping for! Not just fans, filmmaker Karan Johar was also impressed with Baby John taster cut, and he showered praise on his ‘student’ Varun Dhawan.
Soon after the taster cut of Baby John was unveiled, Karan Johar shared it on his Instagram story. Along with the video, KJo also heaped praise on Varun Dhawan, referring to him as his ‘student’. Calling it a Christmas bonanza, he also congratulated the team of Baby John. “Wah mere Student!!!! @varundvn Dhamaal macha diya! Christmas bonanza!!! Congratulations team BABY JOHN!!!!!!” wrote Karan.

For the unversed, Varun Dhawan Dhawan made his acting debut with Karan Johar’s 2012 teen film ‘Student Of The Year’, alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He played the role of Rohan Nanda in the film.

On the occasion of Diwali, a motion poster of Baby John, revealing Varun Dhawan’s first look from the film, was unveiled by the makers. Before this, Jackie Shroff’s look as the villain Babbar Sher was released too. Varun had shared Jackie Shroff’s first look along with a caption that read, “Get ready to meet the darkness you never saw coming… The evil of #BabyJohn! #BabbarSher is coming for you!”
In Baby John, Varun Dhawan leads an impressive ensemble cast, which includes Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Wamika Gabbi, and Rajpal Yadav. The film’s teaser cut is attached in cinemas across with the Diwali entertainers Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa3 where audiences can witness this big-ticket marvel.
