Kapoor: Yes Bank-DHFL case: Rana Kapoor’s wife, daughters sent to judicial custody – Times of India

Mumbai: A special CBI court in Mumbai on Saturday refused bail to wife and two daughters Yes Bank founder Rana Kapoor In case of private sector lender DHFL And sent him to 14 days judicial custody.

Vijay Aggarwal further argued that the court had already exercised its discretion to issue summons to his clients, which clearly shows that there is no need for his arrest.

The CBI has said that between April and June, 2018, Yes Bank invested Rs 3,700 crore in short-term debentures of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL).
In return, DHFL’s Wadhawans allegedly “paid Rs 600 crore” to Kapoor in the form of loans to DOIT Urban Ventures, a firm controlled by Kapoor’s wife and daughters.
