Kapil Sharma spoke openly about being depressed

During the promotional event of his upcoming film Zwigato, Kapil Sharma shared advice for people who feel sad or lonely in their life.

Kapil Sharma is one of those people in the entertainment industry with whom we associate positivity, laughter and comedy. However, they say that the people who smile the most are the saddest. This was true for Sharma at least two years ago. The year 2017 was tough for Kapil as his film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon flopped at the box office, followed by a fight with Sunil Grover.

During the promotional event of his upcoming film Zwigato, Kapil shared advice for those who are feeling sad or lonely in their life. He told Aaj Tak, “As a public figure crores of people know you, you entertain them, but when you come home you are alone. You are also not in a position to live a normal life where you can go out, sit on the beach and watch the ocean. You live in a two room flat, and when it gets dark outside in the evening, I can’t explain how bad it feels to be in that situation.

He further added, “At that stage, I thought of committing suicide. I thought there is no one with whom I can share my feelings. Where I come from, mental health is not something that is discussed.” Go. I don’t think this was the first time I went through this phase. Maybe I felt low in my childhood, but nobody would have noticed. Once you go out to earn money, And when you are alone, there is no one to look after you, to explain things to you, you don’t realize that people around you have ulterior motives, especially if you are an artist. But When you go through such a phase, you start paying attention to things going on around you. Your eyes get opened. If an artist is sensitive, it doesn’t mean he is stupid,” Aaj Tak As reported by Hindustan Times.

Kapil Sharma will be next seen in Nandita Das’ upcoming film Zwigato, which will release on March 17.
