It was previously reported that Sumona Chakravarti is ‘upset’ with Kapil Sharma.

Earlier this year, a report claimed that Sumona did not leave The Kapil Sharma Show by choice but was rather not informed about the comedian’s new show, The Great Indian Kapil Show.

Kapil Sharma and Sumona Chakravarti are back together once again! No, it’s not what you are thinking. On Tuesday, Sumona took to her Instagram handle and shared a video advertisement which featured her with Kapil Sharma. In the clip, the two, who used to play husband and wife in Kapil’s comedy show, were seen getting into a hilarious banter. While Sumona blamed Kapil for her headache, the latter continued to tease her.

In the caption of her post, Sumona revealed that the advertisement was shot a few months back. “Kuch mahine pehle ye mazedaar ad shoot kiya tha with Sharma ji…. ,” she wrote. Check it out here:

Interestingly, this marks the first collaboration between Kapil and Sumona ever since the reports of an alleged rift between the two made headlines. Earlier this year, while Sumona was in Romania for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, a report did the rounds claiming she did not leave The Kapil Sharma Show by choice but was rather not informed about the comedian’s new show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. It was also claimed that Sumona was disheartened and “upset” with Kapil.

However, the former Bade Achhe Lagte Hai actress later spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha and clarified that this was not the case. Chakravarti made it clear that she wasn’t fired from Kapil Sharma’s show. “It is so weird because literally a few days ago, there was a very nice article. I had spoken to a journalist and had said exactly the opposite thing. Then, of course, two days later another publication decided to write an article which said completely the opposite. I had nothing to say because I was also in Romania,” she said.

“I have said this time and again, I was part of a show which ended in July last year and it’s not like you exited or I resigned or I got fired, the show ended in July and after that, we all went ahead. We took up our individual projects after that. I’m doing Khatron Ke Khiladi. He (Kapil Sharma) did another show. It’s just that there is no bad blood at all. Why would I be upset (with Kapil)? He and I worked before and I went to Romania,” the actress added.
