Kapil Sharma congratulated Bhagwant Mann for his resounding victory in the recently held Punjab Assembly elections.
Kapil shared an unseen picture from his wedding on his Instagram, which Maan also attended. In the photo, Kapil and his wife Ginni Chatrath are seen posing with AAP’s CM candidate Bhagwant Mann in Punjab.
Mann, who was a popular standup comedian before venturing into the world of politics, shares a special bond with Kapil Sharma.
Congratulating Bhagwant Mann, Kapil wrote on Instagram that Bhagwant Mann has not only won the elections but also the hearts of the people of Punjab. The host of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ wrote, ‘History remembers those who create history. @bhagwantmann1 Many congratulations to Paaji for his historic win. You not only won the election but also won the heart of Punjab.
Kapil further said: “I pray to God that under your leadership Punjab will progress and achieve new heights. Warm embrace. Lots of love and respect .”
Earlier, Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh also took to Twitter to extend warm wishes to Bhagwant Mann. He wrote, “Mubarakan #Bhagwantman Bhaji.”

On a related note, Bhagwant Mann won the Dhuri assembly seat by a margin of over 58,000 votes, a month before he was announced as the Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial candidate.
