Kanjhawala case UPDATES: Anjali-Nidhi fought over money before accident – read ‘friend’s’ EXPLOSIVE claims

New Delhi: New facts are continuously coming to the fore in the Kanjhawala hit and drag case, which led to the shocking and painful death of 20-year-old Anjali Singh. Now according to ANI, a friend of Anjali’s has revealed that she and Nidhi – a friend who was riding past with Anjali at the time of the accident – fought over money before the two went out on New Year’s Eve. Get out of the hotel. Anjali died in the early hours of January 1 after her scooter was hit by a car, which dragged her for over 12 km from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala in the national capital.

Delhi Police tracked the CCTV footage and recorded Nidhi’s statement. Naveen, who claimed to be Anjali’s friend, said that both the deceased and Nidhi, along with some other friends, were partying at a hotel during which an argument broke out between the two women. Naveen told ANI, “Both were partying there (hotel). Some other friends were also there. After a while, they started quarreling. Nidhi asked him for money and Anjali asked for her keys. Then they had a fight. ” “We separated them. I asked Anjali to calm down. Nidhi went downstairs and created a ruckus. The hotel staff told us about it. Anjali went downstairs to pacify her. They had a fight downstairs. By the time we were there He had left on a scooty,” Naveen said.

According to Naveen, he and Anjali were friends for the past few years and she said that she had booked the hotel room. “I was partying that day and I got a call from Anjali. I didn’t answer her call after which Anjali sent a boy to pick me up and around 11:30 pm I reached Anjali’s house where she Partying with friends.” Naveen said.

Meanwhile, Anjali’s mother has termed the incident as a well-planned conspiracy and demanded severe punishment for the accused. Lonely? This is a well thought out conspiracy. Funds may be involved in this. It should be investigated and all five people should be punished,” Rekha, Anjali’s mother told ANI earlier.

The Delhi Police on Friday arrested two more people, including Ashutosh, the alleged owner of the car involved in the accident. According to the police, the two have been accused of shielding five people — Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishna, Mithun and Manoj Mittal — who were arrested earlier in the case. While Ashutosh was arrested on Friday and sent to police custody for three days, the seventh accused in the case – Ankush Khanna, cousin of accused Amit Khanna, who was allegedly driving the car at the time of the incident – He was later arrested on Friday after which he surrendered at Sultanpuri police station.
