Kangana Ranaut announced on Saturday that she has wrapped filming on the period drama Emergency, her first film as a solo director, in which she plays former prime minister Indira Gandhi during the 1970s. In a post on social media, she hinted about the enemies who worked overtime to stop her from making the film and shared that she had to mortgage her properties while making it. Kangana shared several pictures of BTS from the sets of the film on Instagram and penned a long note about her experience working in ‘Emergency’.

Kangana Ranaut said, “Today as I end Emergency as an actor, a very wonderful phase of my life is coming to its full end. Everything I owned to film this, despite having a blood cell count of less than 10,000, has been a severe test of my character as a person.

“I’ve been very open about my feelings on SM, but I honestly didn’t share it all because I didn’t want people to worry unnecessarily and who just want to see me fall and make me suffer doing something ,i didn’t want to give them the pleasure of my pain.also i want to share with you all that if you think that just working hard for your dreams or what you want is enough , then think again because it is not true…You should work hard given that even if you are capable, you will be tested beyond your limits and you should not break,” she said.

Concluding the note, she continued, “Hold on to yourself as long as you can… If life spares you you’re lucky but if it doesn’t you’re blessed… If you break go and shatter into pieces… so celebrate.” … because it is time for you to be reborn. .It is a rebirth for me and I feel alive like never before… Thank you to my tremendously talented team for doing this for me. P.S. Those who care for me please know that I am in a safe place now… If I wasn’t I wouldn’t be sharing all this…Please don’t worry, all I need is your blessings and love. “

Directed by Kangana, the film also has important roles Anupam KherStarring Mahima Chowdhary, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman and Shreyas Talpade in lead roles. Apart from this, Kangana also has Sarvesh Mewada’s ‘Tejas’ in the pipeline, in which she will be seen playing the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. Her film ‘The Avatar: Sita’ is in the pipeline.
