Kangana Ranaut She is playing the role of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in the biopic titled Thalaivi, which released in cinemas on 10 September. On Thursday, the actress held a screening for the MPs in Delhi. She met actress turned politician Smriti Irani at the event and called her the real Thalaivi. Kangana posted a story on her Instagram – a picture of herself with the Minister of Women and Child Development – and said, “Thalaivi with real life.”
