Kamal Haasan is now all set to produce #STR48 under his banner Raj Kamal Films International (RKFI).
After the super success of his previous production venture Vikram (2022), actor, producer and politician Kamal Haasan, popularly known as Ulaganayagan among his fans, is now producing #STR48 under his banner Raj Kamal Films International (RKFI). ready to build. Starring actor Silambarasan TR, the film will be written and directed by Deshasinha Periyasamy. R Mahendran will also produce the film along with Haasan. With this ambitious drama, Periyasamy promises another engaging experience after the success of the heist comedy Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal (2020), starring Dulquer Salmaan.
#STR48 marks RKFI’s 56th production outing and adds to the line-up of films like KH234 starring Kamal Haasan and directed by renowned filmmaker Mani Ratnam, as well as RKFI51 starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi from Sony Pictures, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy.
Talking about #STR48, Haasan says, “Achieving excellence has been the motto of RKFI. We have been doing this for the last 40 years to the best of our abilities. STR, who won accolades for his performance in actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Vendhu Tanindhathu Kaadu last year, believes waiting for a story like #STR48 is worth the wait. “Patience is a virtue. It takes a lot of faith but it is worth the wait. This film will satiate my hunger for creative passion. It is a great privilege to work in a Kamal Sir production under the Raj Kamal Films International banner. I have strong faith in director Desasinha Periyasamy and his script, which will make this film an important milestone in my career,” he says.
