Actor-turned-politician and Makkal Nidhi Maiyam president Kamal Haasan is recovering after being infected with Covid-19 and admitted to the hospital, according to a hospital bulletin on Friday.
The superstar of South Indian cinema is recovering in an isolation unit at Sri Ramachandra Medical Center in Chennai, where he was admitted on November 22.
Kamal Haasan, who was in the US for the launch of his Khadi brand ‘House of Khadder’, tested positive after returning to India.
Announcing this in a tweet on 22 November, he called upon people to be careful.
