Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone will share screen space in Kalki 2898 AD.
During a chat titled The Kalki Chronicles, Kamal Haasan predicted what Deepika’s baby could become one day.
The team of Kalki 2898 AD is getting ready for their upcoming epic set in a post-apocalyptic world. Apart from the film’s stunning visual effects and mystical story, audiences are intrigued by Deepika Padukone’s role as a pregnant woman. During a chat titled The Kalki Chronicles, Kamal Haasan predicted that Deepika’s baby could become a filmmaker one day.
Deepika talked about Nag Ashwin’s excitement, saying, “I was in Bombay. It was a long break because we were shooting in different schedules. I hadn’t heard from him in a while. I see this missed call from Nagi and I wondered what happened.” He said, ‘I just called to tell you we shot our first day with Kamal sir.’ She further said, “Like a child.”
Kamal pointed to the actor’s baby bump and joked, “That’s what made this film. That child. We hope this child will also make a film some day.”
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh cannot seem to get enough of his pregnant wife, Deepika Padukone’s beauty. The actor shared a bunch of photos on his Instagram story with a melting emoji. The photos featured Deepika in her Kalki 2898 AD trailer launch look. Ranveer attached the song ‘Deepika’ to the Instagram story and gushed over the mother-to-be. Deepika Padukone looked radiant in the black dress with her hair tied in a ponytail.
Ranveer’s story also included the first photo of the actress’ baby bump shared by Deepika earlier this week. The actress, who is expecting her first child with Ranveer Singh, took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday evening to share a picture in which she was seen flaunting her baby bump. In the blurred photo, Deepika’s face wasn’t visible but she was seen posing in a black body-hugging outfit. Her baby bump was also clearly visible.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. The shooting of the film is already underway.
