The project, which aims to divert the water of Mahadayi river to Malaprabha, once completed will supply drinking water to Dharwad and adjoining districts. “The BJP is in power in Karnataka and at the Centre. In a situation like this, any such issues should be resolved at the earliest,” the statement read.

He has a lot of knowledge about this matter. The government should no longer postpone the implementation of the project. Any delay will result in the people of North Karnataka launching another agitation,” warned the committee.
