Bollywood actress Kajal Aggarwal is on cloud nine these days after becoming a mother for the first time. The Singham actress welcomed her son Neil with husband Gautam Kitchlu on April 19 last year. Following Neil’s birth, the 37-year-old was on a long maternity leave, enjoying her time as a new mum while going on holiday with her family. Now after almost a year, Kajal has once again resumed her work commitments. The actress who will be next seen in director S.K. Shankar’s Indian 2, has resumed her shoot for the film. On February 27, the B-town stunner announced her return to the sets of the film by posting a picture on Twitter.
Tweeting a monochrome picture with a giant pink heart sticker applied to her face so as not to reveal her look from the film, Kajal wrote, “#Indian2 #COMINGSOON.” In the photo, the actress clicked a mirror selfie with a make-up artist. Different colored bottles of hair dye were also displayed on the table in front of both of them.
Looks like Kajal is back on her toes, and is leaving no stone unturned to prepare herself for Indian 2. Earlier, the actress took to Instagram to share a video of herself taking horse riding lessons. The video features the tinsel town star, dressed in a casual black tee with a pair of purple-black, marble-dyed slacks, riding a horse. With the assistance of his trainer, wearing a protective helmet, he coaxed the animal before mounting the horse.
Along with the video, Kajal wrote a long caption, where she expressed her excitement to return to work post delivery. An excerpt from what she wrote read, “Eager and excited, I am back to work after 4 months! … After baby, getting your energy levels back has been tough. It was a herculean task to ride a horse, let alone get on it!:”
“Indian 2 I am so glad to be back in the drill with you. Excited to learn new skills on the job and pursue them as a hobby later. Grateful for the opportunities to continuously learn and become an enhanced version of myself ,’ he concluded.
Indian 2 stars Kamal Haasan in the lead role. The actioner is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian, which also starred Kamal Haasan. Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nedumudi Venu, Guru Somasundaram, Bobby Simha and Siddharth have also been roped in to play important roles. Collaborated with Red Giant Movies And Lyca Productions, Indian 2 is all set for an all India release. A premiere date has yet to be announced.
