Jug Jugg Jeeyo VS Khuda Hafiz 2 Box Office: At present, there is a fierce competition between not only two but three films at the box office. Yes, we are talking about Jag Jug Jio, Khuda Hafiz 2 and Thor – Love and Thunder. The Raj Mehta directorial which released late last month has impressed both fans and critics. This is the reason why the film is doing tremendous business not only in India but also abroad. It has grossed over 130 crores worldwide and 78.48 crores in India. Meanwhile, speaking about Vidyut Jammwal’s Khuda Hafiz: Chapter II Agniya Pariksha, it struggled during the first three days of release but gained momentum on Day 4. The action-drama’s collection, directed by Farooq Kabir, has gone up to Rs 6.55 crore as per initial estimates.
A BoxOfficeIndia report, talking about the collections of Jug Jug Jio said, “The film had to perform to pockets in a big way to get more numbers as the numbers in metros are not the same as they were before the pandemic, so You need a much wider exposure. Before the pandemic you can get some very big numbers of 150 crores and 175 crores from just one big exposure in the big centres.”
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection on Monday and wrote, “#JugJuggJeeyo sees an upward trend over the weekend… Premium multiplexes continue to see a steady rise in numbers while pockets are low… [Week 3] Venus 92 lakhs, Saturn 1.80 crores, Sun 2.05 crores. Total: ₹ 78.48 crore. #IndiaBiz.”
The report further talked about Khuda Hafiz 2 and read, “In the first weekend but it showed some solid growth for an action film and the trend in the weekend is quite good for the genre. Last week a similar film like Rashtra Kavach Om released but which did not have such a trajectory.”
Taran tweeted the box office report and wrote, “#KhudaHafiz2 picks up pace after a sluggish start on Day 1… Seen good growth on Days 2nd & 3rd… Tier-2 & Tier-3 centers run their business Are… Day 4 on Day 1 Biz needs to be equal to / surpassed… Fri 1.30 cr, Sat 1.72 cr, Surya 3.13 cr. Talking about the film, it is a sequel to Vidyut Jammwal’s 2020 film Khuda Hafiz, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar amid the Covid-19 pandemic. It is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Sneha Bimal Parekh and Ram Mirchandani under the banner of Panorama Studios.
