Incidents increasing in the city due to the negligence of SSP – Marandi
Marandi has also mentioned the track record of SSP Sanjeev Kumar in the letter. Marandi said the past record of the SSP has been under question when he was the SP of Palamu district when an elderly couple was kidnapped. That matter is still under question. Despite this, he was promoted and made the SSP of Dhanbad. Because of such weak officer crime is increasing in the city, so strict action is needed against SSP.
In the past, the auto crushed the judge
The Jharkhand government on Saturday recommended a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged murder of an Additional District Judge in Dhanbad. Additional District Judge Uttam Anand, posted in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district, died under suspicious circumstances after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday. In connection with the murder of the judge, the Dhanbad police have arrested two people and the auto used in the incident has also been confiscated. Both the accused have been identified as Lakhan Kumar Verma and Rahul Verma, who have confessed to their crime.
Case may be transferred to CBI
Here, the High Court has also taken the matter seriously and heard it. The High Court has asked the government to respond. In the High Court, the DGP said that SIT has been constituted regarding the matter. At the same time, the High Court made it clear that if there is no satisfactory investigation, the case will be transferred to the CBI.
