Prayagraj: Panic gripped SRN hospital campus and adjoining areas under the limits of Kotwali police station on Monday for more than an hour after group of junior doctors and employees\ workers at pathology department clashed over a petty issue.
Upon being alerted, senior police officials along with MLN Medical college authorities rushed to the spot and pacified both the groups. Senior MLN Medical college authorities later talked to both the groups at length and sorted out their issues.
Kotwali polices aid, “The series of incident started taking place when a junior doctor had arrived pathology department to receive a report and had exchanged heated arguments with the lab technician. It was alleged that employees at pathologydepartment had manhandled the junior doctor and when other junior doctors and their colleagues came to know about manhandling, they too arrived and thrashed the employees of pathology department.
Inspector (Kotwali) said both the rival groups of junior doctors and pathology department employees exchanged heated arguments and clashed.
