Journalist murdered in Bihar: Dead body found in half-burnt condition on the side of the road in Madhubani, brother casts doubt on hospital operator

A journalist was murdered in Madhubani district of Bihar. His body was found late on Friday night under a tree in Uren village near Benipatti-Basaith highway number-52. The half-burnt body was tied in a sack. The youth has been identified as 24-year-old Buddhinath Jha alias Avinash, son of Dayanand Jha, a resident of Lohia Chowk in Benipatti Bazar.

It is said that Chandrashekhar Jha had filed a missing report of his younger brother Budhinath Jha by applying to the Benipatti police station. It was said that Avinash has been missing since the night of 9 November. Under some deep conspiracy, the local hospital operators of Benipatti had made the brother missing.

Giving reasons in the application, he has said that for the last several years, Budhinath was campaigning against the local hospital in Benipatti being run in a fraudulent manner. They were unhappy with this.

Avinash has been speaking his words through Facebook as well.  In a post made on 18 October, he had spoken of fighting till he was alive.

According to information received from police sources, the postmortem report has revealed that he died 4 days ago. Benipatti SHO Arvind Kumar said that as soon as the application was received, the police was engaged in investigation. Now after the discovery of the dead body, after registering an FIR, all the points are being investigated. Police will arrest the killers as soon as possible.

Let us tell you, there are 19 private hospitals in Benipatti. Avinash used to highlight the shortcomings of all of them from time to time. He was a journalist as well as a social activist. Under the Public Grievance Redressal Act, he had complained about these fake clinics, on which action was taken. The family has accused the operators of these fake clinics of murder.

A journalist has also been murdered in Motihari
On August 10, Manish Kumar Singh, a journalist, was murdered in East Champaran. The criminals kidnapped him and tortured him, then slit his throat. The father of the deceased is also a journalist. An FIR has been registered against 17 people in connection with the incident.
