Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner celebrate two years of their France wedding
American singer Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones fame actress Sophie Turner are celebrating two blissful years of their marriage. The two married twice- once in a surprise wedding in May 2019, then they married in France on June 29 in the presence of their friends and family. While Joe and Sophie were about to tie the knot in Paris, they surprised their friends as well as their parents when they got married in Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards. It was a secret ceremony attended by only a few friends and their band members. Even Joe’s parents came to know about his marriage through the internet.
On their second wedding anniversary, Joe and Sophie took to social media to share unseen pictures from their lavish ceremony. From the performance of the Jonas Brothers to the pool party, their wedding turned out to be an unforgettable event. Taking to Instagram, Joe wrote, “2 Years of Party Times.” Sharing another picture of himself and Sophie dancing, he said, “Best two years of my life. Love you @sophy.”
Sophie Turner also shared some precious moments from the ceremony. She wrote, “2 years as your wife holy moly I love you bub.” She captioned another set of photos, saying, “I mean… f**k it, it’s been 2 years.” Priyanka Chopra Heart emojis were also dropped as the two shared mesmerizing pictures.
Joe and Sophie welcomed their first daughter, Vila, at a Los Angeles hospital on July 22 last year. Representatives for the two told People Magazine, “Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their child.” The couple did not reveal their daughter’s face to the world and claimed that they wanted to lead a private life.
A while back, Sophie Turner even slammed the paparazzi for clicking pictures of her daughter without permission. In a video, she vented her anger and said, “I just woke up. I think yesterday some paparazzi managed to take a picture of my daughter and me and I just want to say that I am not posting our pictures. Betty and making sure we can avoid the paparazzi at all costs, because I obviously don’t want those photos out.”
“She’s my daughter. She didn’t ask to be photographed for the sake of this life. It’s f–king scary that old men are taking pictures of a child without their permission. I’m sick, I’m disgusted and I’m respectful.” Telling everyone to stop following us and trying to take pictures of our daughter and especially print them. It’s disgusting and you don’t have my permission.
