Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has once again extended the registration deadline for admission in class 6 till February 15. Parents, guardians and students can fill the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2023 Application Form for Class 6 Admission. on the official website of NVS navodaya.gov.in. In January, NVS had extended the registration date for JNVST Class 6 Admission 2023 till February 8.

As per the schedule JNV selection test will be held on 29th April Saturday at 11:30 am. The admit card for the same will be issued a few days before the exam. The result of JNVST Class 6 Admission is expected to be declared in June this year. The selection test is mandatory for all students seeking admission in class 6 in JNVs for the academic session 2023-24.

NVS Registration 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Students registering for JNVST Class 6 Admission 2023 must be born between May 1, 2011 and April 30, 2013 (both dates inclusive). They should also be domicile of the concerned district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) is located.

Candidates must be studying in class 5 in the academic session 2022-23 in a government or government aided or recognized school in the same district where the JNV is functioning and in which they seek admission. They must have studied and passed class 3 and 4 from a government or government-aided or recognized school and must have spent one full academic year in each class.

NVS Registration 2023: Documents Required for Admission

A set of documents are required while applying for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test which includes:

Photograph and signature of the candidate

– Signature of parents

Certificate attested by the Headmaster mentioning the particulars of the candidate in the prescribed format

Aadhaar card details, or residence certificate issued by the competent government authority.

NVS Registration 2023: How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of NVS, navodaya.gov.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the link ‘NVS Class VI Registration’ on the homepage.

Step 3: As the new window opens, complete the asked registration process.

Step 4: Fill JNVST 2023 Application Form, pay the required fee and submit it as indicated.

Step 5: Save and download the confirmation page of the same.

Step 6: Take a printout of NVS Registration 2023 for Admission in Class 6 for further use.

The selection test will be conducted for a duration of two hours. The exam paper will consist of three sections with objective type questions only. There will be total 80 questions for 100 marks.
