Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has started the online registration for Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2023. The application window for the preliminary exam is open from April 17 to May 16. Candidates can also make changes in their application form from May 17 to May. 19. A total of 75 vacancies including Junior Scale, J&K Account and J&K Police have been released this year for the recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website of JKPSC- jkpsc.nic.in. The tentative date of the exam is July 23, which will be conducted in two sessions.

JKPSC CCE 2023: How to apply

Step 1: Go to the homepage of JKPSC- https://jkpsc.nic.in/

Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Recruitment Tab’.

Step 3: Click on the Registration link for Jobs.

Step 4: Register yourself by filling your basic details.

Step 5: Fill the required details.

Step 6: Upload the required documents to the application form.

Step 7: Pay the Application Fee

Step 8: Download and save the application form for future reference.

The application fee is Rs 1,000 for general category and Rs 500 for reserved category candidates. The maximum age limit to appear in the exam is 32 years. To know more about the eligibility criteria for the exam, candidates are requested to visit the official website of JKPSC.

Through this exam, recruitment will be done on Jammu and Kashmir Police, Accounts and Junior Scale posts. All the three posts have 25 seats each. To get selected, candidates have to go through the selection process which consists of three stages- preliminary, mains and personal interview. Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will be eligible for the next stage of the exam.

It is important for the applying candidates to note down the physical eligibility required for the exam. Male candidates should have a minimum height of 165 cm and female candidates should have a minimum height of 150 cm. Male candidate’s chest without expansion should be up to 84 cms, while female candidate’s chest should be 79 cms without expansion.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission conducts the annual state level examination. JKPSC was established by the Government of India under Article 128 and 133. The primary goal of the JKPSC exam is to conduct the Civil Services Examination each year to recruit candidates for the Civil Services Department in Jammu and Kashmir.
