3 soldiers injured in blast in J&K’s Shopian, say police

Three soldiers were injured after an explosion was reported in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian, police said on Thursday. The blast took place in a private vehicle following which the injured jawans were admitted to the hospital, he said.

The nature and source of the explosion is yet to be ascertained and is under investigation.

The Kashmir Zone Police said on Twitter early Thursday that the nature of the blast is being investigated and will be shared.

Terrorists targeting civilians in Jammu and Kashmir

This comes a day after a civilian was injured after he was shot by terrorists in Shopian. The condition of the citizen is stable.

Earlier on Tuesday, terrorists opened fire on Rajni Bala, a teacher of a Hindu school in Kulgam district of Kashmir region. Bala, a Hindu school teacher, was shot dead by terrorists in Kulgam district of Kashmir region.

Bala, a resident of Samba in Jammu region, was injured when terrorists fired upon her in Gopalpora area of ​​Kulgam, where she was posted as a teacher. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the incident took place in Kulgam’s High School Gopalpora area.

Earlier on May 25, Kashmiri TV actress Amrin Bhat was killed by unidentified terrorists in Chadoora area of ​​Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, while her 10-year-old nephew was injured.

Earlier, Rahul Bhatt, an employee of Tehsil office in Chadoora of Budgam district, was shot dead by terrorists in Budgam on May 12.
