Jammu Kashmir News: A hybrid terrorist has been arrested in a joint operation by Awantipora Police and Army. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from the terrorist. He has been identified as Amir Ahmed and is a resident of Kashwa Chitragam area of Zainapora in Shopian.
Police said the terrorist has been banned for the organization of Al-Badr in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said that based on specific information regarding the movement of terrorists in Beigund in South Kashmir district, security forces set up a check post in the area.
A “hybrid terrorist” from al-Badr was arrested during the investigation.
The spokesman said incriminating material, arms and ammunition, a pistol and four live cartridges were recovered from him.
He said that a case has been registered in the matter and investigation has been started.
