Eligible people should be given corona vaccine by January 15
Additional Chief Secretary Health Arun Kumar Singh said in a letter to the Deputy Commissioners of the district that all eligible beneficiaries should be vaccinated by January 15. He further said that the number of cases of Omicron in the country is continuously increasing. This new variant of the corona virus has a higher potential for transmission and is likely to spread rapidly.

961 Omicron cases in 22 states
In the last few days, the number of new cases of Omicron has increased in many states of the country. In total, 961 cases of Omicron have been found in 22 states of the country, including Union Territories, while 320 people have recovered.

344 new cases of corona found in the state on Wednesday
On Wednesday, 344 new cases of coron were found in Jharkhand. In which 118 cases were found in Ranchi, 56 in Koderma and 43 in East Singhbhum district. Overall, there was a significant increase in new cases of corona in Jharkhand this week. Now the number of active cases in the state has reached 608.
