During Question Hour on Monday, Congress MLA Deepika Pandey Singh raised the issue of prohibition during Question Hour. In response to which Chief Minister Soren said that the Jharkhand government will not implement prohibition.
Pandey had said that like Bihar, the implementation of liquor prohibition in Jharkhand will drastically reduce crimes against women, but the Chief Minister categorically denied this.

On the other hand, Pradeep Yadav sought information from the government on the implementation of the old pension scheme in the state. Yadav said that the government of many states is considering it. On this, Chief Minister Soren said that the government has no proposal at present.
