In Jharkhand’s Latehar district, Maoists torched 10 vehicles used for construction of roads and bridges. The incident took place just one kilometer away from the Banskarcha CRPF camp in Mahuadand block.
During this, 30-35 Maoists torched a total of 9 vehicles including four water tanks, 2 JCBs, 1 tailor, a 704 vehicle and a Poklane. The plant’s manager Vishwanath Chandravanshi and about 15 people were present at the time of the incident. According to the information, the Maoists had demanded a levy from the road construction company. This incident took place due to non-payment of levy.
