Most passengers are satisfied with Birsa Munda Airport (BMA). It has been ranked first along with Udaipur in the Consumer Satisfaction Index (CSI) survey. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) conducted a survey at 55 airports in the country in the first phase from January to June-2022.
In the five-point survey, Ranchi secured the highest score with Udaipur airport at 4.99. All 55 airports got an average of 4.63 in CSI. BMA director KL Aggarwal said, the airport has improved. Last time it got second place.
CSI covers passenger feedback, parking arrangements, entry facilities, toilets, cleanliness, seating arrangements, arrival counters, security, staff behaviour, catering stalls, etc. Every day 30 flights depart from Ranchi Airport. 4500 to 5000 passengers come here daily.
