However, now the police administration is taking precautions.
Mention of women in intelligence report
According to the intelligence department, some people are preparing to take out another procession in Ranchi on or before Friday 17th June. Only women can participate in the procession. Demonstrations are expected after the Friday prayers. The Intelligence Department has given the report related to this to Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan.
Minor taken into custody in Dhanbad
Two minors have been detained from Dhanbad in Jharkhand for posting objectionable posts on social media. Tension prevailed in Kumardhubi after the minors posted on social media, police officials said. After this, both were taken into custody and interrogated.
Hindpiri area susceptible
After the intelligence report came out, the police officers have also directed to arrange barricading and water cannons on the possible routes of the procession. Barricading has been done at all the entry points of Hindpiri following the instructions of DC.
Violence took place in Ranchi on June 10
Violence broke out on Friday, June 10 in different parts of Jharkhand, including Ranchi, following controversial remarks against Prophet Mohammad by suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Incidents of stone pelting, arson and vandalism also took place during this period. In view of the situation, along with imposing curfew, the administration had temporarily suspended all internet services in Ranchi till 6 am on June 11.
