A heated argument broke out between BJP leader CP Singh and Banna Gupta in the Jharkhand Assembly on Tuesday. During the discussion on the supplementary budget, there was a ruckus over the statement of CP Singh.

When Health Minister Banna Gupta said something during CP Singh’s statement, he said, ‘What will the tempo agent do to me.’ The ruling party was completely furious at this. All the MLAs and ministers of the ruling party came to the well and started creating ruckus.

However, after the intervention of Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto, CP Singh withdrew his statement. Later the speaker removed him from the proceedings. After this the BJP MLAs boycotted the proceedings of the House and they all left. The Speaker adjourned the proceedings of the House till 11 am on Wednesday.

Earlier there was a discussion on the supplementary budget. In this, Vinod Singh of CPI ML, Congress Pradeep Yadav, Irfan Ansari, Sudivya Sonu of the ruling party gave their side. Till the time he gave his speech on the budget, BJP MLAs remained in the well and kept raising slogans. After this it was CP Singh’s turn to speak on the supplementary budget. As soon as CP Singh stood up to speak, Congress and JMM MLAs started thumping the table.
