Five people were injured after being hit by Terrorist attack that hit the car Monday in the heart of Jerusalem.
The victims include a man in his 70s, who is in serious condition, a woman in her 30s in moderate condition, and a man in his 50s and two 25-year-old men with only mild injuries, KAN told.
All the victims were taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah-University Medical Center.
According to a Hadassah spokesman, one of the victims was hospitalized due to shock.
The terrorist, identified as Hatem Nejima, a 39-year-old resident of Beit Safafa in East Jerusalem, was shot and killed by a civilian at the scene. Army radio reported that he was a married father of five children, not known to the security forces, but had a history of mental illness.

Minutes after the attack, security forces, off-duty soldiers, police and train security officers arrived at the scene of the attack from two blocks away. A crowd gathered around the area, with Israelis and tourists watching the scene. At times, they had to be moved aside to allow victims to be extricated.
It is being told that the attacker was shot dead on the spot.

Another incident reportedly occurred in the Nachlot neighborhood of Jerusalem and it is currently unclear whether the two incidents are related.
Light rail service from Davidka station to Damascus Gate has been suspended as a result of the terrorist attack.
