JEE Main 2023 topper P Lohit Aditya Sai now aims to break into the top 100 ranking in JEE Advanced 2023. He wants to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science at IIT Bombay and wants to become a software engineer.

One of the 43 candidates to score 100 percentile Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023P Lohit Aditya Sai from Andhra Pradesh says he felt very proud of himself when he found that he scored 300 out of 300 in the exam and secured All India Rank (AIR) 2. 270 marks out of 300 and he wanted to clear his mistakes, so he decided to give session 2 exam also.

Talking about his study routine, he said, “I started preparing for JEE Main in mid-December. Since then I have been studying from 6:30 am to 10 pm. I studied maths till 8:30 am, as the calmness of the morning helped me study the logic behind most of the parts. After that I used to study chemistry till afternoon. After lunch, I used to study physics till late night.

The 17-year-old now aims to break into the top 100 rankings in JEE Advanced 2023. He wants to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science at IIT Bombay and wants to become a software engineer.

“Reading NCERT textbooks is very helpful in JEE Main as they are extremely useful for conceptual clarity of the three subjects. Also, practicing previous year papers was very helpful as you get an idea of ​​what kind of questions they ask every year. “One should also pay attention to those chapters which are specifically for JEE Main but are not a part of JEE Advanced syllabus,” he added.

Pointing out the challenges she faced during the preparation, she mentioned that she found Chemistry a bit difficult. To overcome the same, he started giving more than five hours to the subject every day. However, he had to cut back on his study time for physics and mathematics to compensate. He says that he focused more on JEE Main preparation than on board exams. Elaborating on his exam experience, he said, “I felt maths was a bit difficult as the paper was lengthy. Chemistry on the other hand, even though it was difficult for me, I was able to solve really quickly.”

Staying calm during the exam played a vital role in his success. “Two days before the exam, I mostly rested and slept so that I could de-stress myself,” he says. Besides her parents, a homemaker, her elder brother who works in Oracle supported and inspired her a lot, she said.
