JEE Main 2022 postponement JEE Advanced delayed, new academic cycle, students fear

After National Testing Agency (NTA) change in exam dates Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 For the third time, many students expressed concern about the admission process and the start of the new academic session. While it has come as a relief to the board aspirants that the engineering exam has been postponed from April straight to the end of June, many are worried that it will delay college admissions to JEE Advanced 2022 and thus.

JEE Main 2022 The first attempt will now be held from June 20 to 29 and session 2 from July 21 to 30. The students have highlighted that the postponement will mean that the new academic session will not start before September or October. JEE Advanced will also be postponed.

Every year top 2.5 lakh students of JEE Main are allowed to appear for JEE Advanced – IIT entrance exam. Hence, advance can happen only after JEE Main is conducted. this year, JEE Advanced to be held on 3rd Julyexam conducting body, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay informed earlier. The registration process is to start from June 8. Now there is a lot of possibility that the whole process will be postponed till after July as JEE Main session 2 is ending by 30th July and advance cannot be conducted before the result of JEE Main.

A section of students on social media platform Twitter has said that college admissions will be affected. A Twitter user wrote, “It is good for students but not good for admission session, will be late again so next time think about it, that’s my prayer.”

With the postponement, they now want to sit in the first attempt. NTA had made two attempts so that students can get two chances to crack the entrance exam.

Those who have already applied are allowed to edit their father’s or mother’s name, category, sub-category, or re-certificate and correct the courses they have chosen.
