Patna: Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Kailash Mahato was shot dead by some unknown miscreants in Bihar’s Katihar district. According to the police, the JDU leader was murdered on Wednesday night. The incident is of Barari police station area of Katihar.
Confirming the incident, Katihar’s SDPO Om Prakash said, ‘We have started the investigation and soon the accused will be arrested. About 4-5 rounds of firing were done. Further details can be given only after the postmortem.”
