Janhvi Kapoor wishes late mother Sridevi happy birthday
Sridevi was born in 1963 and made her acting debut at the tender age of four with the Tamil film Kandhan Karunai.
Late actress Sridevi is no more with us but her family is celebrating her birthday today. Boney Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor have shared old photos with her on social media. Janhvi Kapoor shared a childhood photo with her mother Sridevi and wished her a happy birthday. In no time it went viral and fans were also seen reacting to it.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Janhvi Kapoor shared photos in which she is seen sitting with her mother Sridevi, and posing. In the other two, she shared a staircase photo of the temple and dressed in traditional lehenga. “Happy birthday Mumma I love you,” read the caption. On the occasion of her 61st birth anniversary, August 13, her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter, actress Khushi Kapoor, remembered the legendary actress. Boney Kapoor posted an edited picture of his late wife, seemingly from her 2012 drama film English Vinglish. Sharing the post, the producer wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday, my jaan.”

Sridevi was born in 1963 and made her acting debut at the tender age of four with the Tamil film Kandhan Karunai. Over the years, she became a household name, known for her versatility and talent in the Indian film industry. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Solva Saawan in 1979, but her career shot up after she appeared in the 1983 film Himmatwala opposite Jeetendra.
After that, she appeared in several big-budgeted films like Chandni, Mr India, Nagina, Sadma, ChaalBaaz, Laadla, Lamhe, Khuda Gawah, Karma and others. She was also conferred with the Padma Shri award for her contribution to the Indian film industry.
Her last appearance was in the film Mom, for which she also received the National Film Award For Best Actress, posthumously. Sridevi tied the knot with producer Boney Kapoor on June 2, 1996, and the couple welcomed their first child Janhvi Kapoor in 1997, and Khushi Kapoor in 2000.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is currently seen in Ulajh. The film has failed to impress the audience. Released on August 2, the mystery drama has not minted much money at the box office. She is gearing up for Devara with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.
