The behind-the-scenes video captures the fun and camaraderie shared by the cast and crew on the sets.
Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her upcoming thriller film Ulajh. The film, set to release on August 2, also features Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew in lead roles. Ahead of the film’s release, director Sudhanshu Saria has released a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram. The video captures fun and camaraderie shared by the cast and crew on the sets.
The BTS clip begins with Janhvi taking pictures of flowers while looking stunning in a green tube jumpsuit. We then see her next to director Sudhanshu Saria, looking at the monitor after a shot. We also catch a glimpse of Gulshan in a fun mood. The video features several shots of Janhvi running on the ground, shooting outside in the cold, and on a courtroom set, along with a moment where she is cracking jokes. In one scene, Gulshan and Janhvi are filming in a motorcycle sidecar, with Gulshan singing “Yeh Dosti Hum Nahin Todenge.” The video concludes with the poster and release date of Ulajh.
Alongside the video, Sudhanshu wrote, “Fun and games. That was the shoot of Ulajh. Here is the proof. And all my actors and HODs and crew will testify that I NEVER caused anyone any trouble and only made them laugh and spread joy.”
Recently, the makers released a song from the film, titled Shaukan, featuring Janhvi and Gulshan. The song highlights their sizzling chemistry. However, Gulshan admitted in an interview with Film Companion that he didn’t connect with Janhvi personally. He shared, “We don’t vibe that way. We’re not sitting and chatting. We don’t vibe at all.” Janhvi, who was also present, said, “This is the funniest thing you’ve said.”
Ulajh follows the journey of a young IFS officer who comes from a prominent family of patriots. While working at an important post far from home, she gets caught up in a dangerous personal conspiracy. The film also features Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Arun Malik ( as Indian High Commissioner), Jitendra Joshi, Meiyang Chang and more in significant roles.
Apart from Ulajh, Janhvi Kapoor will appear in director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming drama film Karna. The film also features Shahid Kapoor and Suriya in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Gulshan has also completed the filming of director Kaushal Oza’s upcoming comedy-drama film Little Thomas.
