New Delhi: Actress Janhvi Kapoor along with Varun Dhawan attended the trailer launch of ‘Baawaal’ in Dubai. She arrived at the event in a green saree with an embellished border which was adding to her look.

The trailer of the film depicts a love story set against the backdrop of World War II with many complications and internal conflicts. It begins with the introduction of history teacher Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan), also known as Ajju Bhaiya, who has created a fake image about himself. In the trailer, he can be heard saying, “Beta mahul banao aisa ki logo ko mahul yaad rahe hai, nahi result nahi.” However, circumstances force him to go on a World War II trip to Europe, and he is forced to take his newly married wife Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor) along.
They do not share good bond with each other and both are not happy with each other in some way or the other. If Nisha feels that he is unnecessarily creating a false image of her and that she is somewhere selfish, Ajay is also not happy with her and calls her a ‘defective piece’.
The trailer also shows scenes from World War II and mentions Adolf Hitler. This makes a clear comparison between the Civil War and the World War.
