Jammu & Kashmir: 8 die, 17 injured in three separate road accidents

Srinagar: Eight people were killed and 17 others injured in three road accidents in two districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, police said. All the injured were admitted to hospitals.

Car fell into 250 meter deep gorge

Doda’s Special Deputy Commissioner Paul Mahajan said that a car lost control and fell into a 250 meter deep gorge near Chhatragalla Top on the Bhaderwah-Pathankot National Highway, killing five people in the car and injuring 12 other passengers. All the injured were admitted to the hospital.

One killed in Bhalla area of ​​Doda

In another accident, a person named Javed Ahmed died after his vehicle fell into a deep gorge in Bhalla area of ​​Doda district. While four others were injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital.

Two killed, one injured in Ramban

A car went out of control and fell into a gorge over 200 meters deep near Rampari on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Two people named Mohammad Afzal and Mohammad Azmat died in the accident and another was injured.
