Jammu and Kashmir News: Riflewomen of Wusan Battalion patrolling in Chattargul area of Jammu and Kashmir. The main objective of the patrol was to ascertain the well being and health of women living in far flung areas.
Riflewomen, trained as nursing assistants, conducted health check-up of the elderly and pregnant women of the area. They also spread awareness about the rising Covid cases in the valley and the precautions to be taken to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
He interacted with the people of the area and inquired about their well-being.
The local women are happy with the initiative and appreciated the Rifle Women for conducting such awareness program while providing essential items through Khairiyat Patrol and they have followed the protocol to contain the spread of COVID-19 cases in the valley. Also promised
