Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces gun down Lashkar terrorist in Kulgam
A Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was killed during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said on Friday.
“So far one terrorist has been killed. Full search of the building is yet to be completed,” the IGP said.
Two security personnel and two civilians were injured in firing by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam on Thursday.
“Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists are still trapped. Firing is on. Two security personnel and two civilians have been injured in the firing of terrorists,” Kumar said.
According to the IGP, terrorists opened fire on a BSF convoy in Kulgam during the day.
“Senior officers of police, CRPF and army are present at the spot,” the IGP said.
