Jammu and Kashmir News UpdatesAn infiltrating terrorist and a soldier were killed after the Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday (July 8).

Defense sources said alert Army personnel noticed a suspicious movement in Tangdhar sector of the Line of Control in Kupwara district this morning.

“When the infiltrating terrorists were challenged, they opened fire on the retaliatory soldiers. One terrorist was killed, while the infiltration attempt was foiled.

Sources said, “An army jawan also lost his life in this operation. Search is on in the area.”
