Police said most of the seven injured passengers were in critical condition.

Four people, including a 10-year-old girl, were killed and seven others were seriously injured when a car fell off a road into a deep gorge in Poonch’s Saujian Valley on Saturday.

Police said one person died on the spot when a Tata Sumo rolled on the road in Barari drain. After this, the injured were taken to Sub-District Hospital Saujian, where one succumbed to his injuries. Later, two others succumbed to their injuries at the district hospital in Poonch, police said.

Police said most of the seven injured passengers were in critical condition.

The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Sadiq (52), Shabana Kausar (10), Munira Begum (32) and Abdul Ahad (61), residents of Gagaria.
