2 teachers killed in firing by terrorists in Idgah area of Srinagar
On Thursday, terrorists shot dead two government school teachers, including a woman, in the Idgah area of Srinagar. Terrorists opened fire on two teachers at a government higher secondary school here. Both the teachers died on the spot.
According to the police, at around 11:15 am, the terrorists shot dead two teachers of the school. The area has been cordoned off and a search has been started to nab the attackers.
“Two teachers were killed in a terrorist attack on a government school in Idgah Sangam area of Srinagar,” Jammu and Kashmir Police said in a statement.
Reports said that the teachers killed are school principal Supinder Kaur and a Kashmiri Pandit teacher Deepak Chand.
Today’s killing comes two days after a local Pandit, ML Bindu, a non-local vendor and a taxi driver were shot dead in Kashmir.
