JAIPUR: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man at a hotel near the airport plaza, where both had gone to new Year Eve festival. The crime came to light after the girl approached the Jawahar Circle police station on Tuesday evening.
She claimed that she had gone to the club with friends around 11 pm on Friday (December 31) to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The next morning, she woke up and informed her friends about the incident. In her complaint, the girl also alleged that the hotel staff were involved in trying to coerce her to bury the matter.
