JAIPUR: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man at a hotel near the airport plaza, where both had gone to new Year Eve festival. The crime came to light after the girl approached the Jawahar Circle police station on Tuesday evening.
She claimed that she had gone to the club with friends around 11 pm on Friday (December 31) to celebrate New Year’s Eve. There he met a young man, a native of Gujarat, who had also come to the club with his friends. The girl claimed that while celebrating a New York party together in a VIP section, the young man allegedly offered her an intoxicating drink during the dance. He then took her to a hotel room located in the same building where he allegedly raped her and recorded some videos. Meanwhile, his friends got worried and kept looking for him.
The next morning, she woke up and informed her friends about the incident. In her complaint, the girl also alleged that the hotel staff were involved in trying to coerce her to bury the matter.
