Jagdanand Singh skips flag hoisting at RJD office | Patna News – Times of India

Patna: All is not well in Bihar RJD Has become clear as the state president of the party Jagdanand Singh haven’t come to office since Tej PratapMILF’s eldest son then prasadOn 8 August, at a function of Chhatra RJD, he was compared to Hitler. Tej had also said that the chair (state president) is not anyone’s permanent property.
Singh, who used to come to office religiously every day between 10 am and 11 am and leave only in the evening, did not even attend the flag hoisting ceremony on Independence Day on Sunday.
As per protocol, the RJD state president has been hoisting the flag at the party office on Independence Day or Republic Day, except on a few occasions when the vice-president was given this responsibility.
But neither Singh nor any state vice president of RJD unfurled the flag on this Independence Day.
“No vice-president of the state wanted to face the shameful situation. To avoid any further controversy on the issue, Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav unfurled the national flag,” said a senior RJD leader.
RJD sources said Tejashwi and other senior party leaders tried to persuade Singh to come to the office to hoist the flag, but in vain.
A senior RJD leader said, ‘This is not the first time that Tej Pratap has insulted Jagada Babu. He even tried to make fun of her during the foundation day celebrations. No person of Jagda Babu’s stature can tolerate such misbehavior. His long absence from the RJD office will badly affect the party. He imposed strict and discipline in its functioning, which was not liked by many. Even on 15 August, chaos and indiscipline was visible in the party office and his absence was felt.
However, RJD state spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan cited health issues as the reason for Singh not coming to office.
“He is not well but is still managing the party affairs. There are CCTV cameras in the office and he is keeping an eye on everything and giving his instructions. Once fit, he will resume office,” said Gagan.
