The practical and project work of outgoing students from various departments of the School of Engineering and Technology was resumed in batches on a pilot basis at the University two weeks ago to navigate the challenges associated with offline learning under the COVID-19 pandemic.
IUST will organize a special vaccination drive next week to vaccinate the remaining students so that the campus is soon opened for offline classwork for all students. Wearing of masks and social distancing is mandatory for all students and staff members on campus even after 100% vaccination of staff and students. In addition to transport facilities, the University will ensure provision of hostel facility for all eligible students coming from far flung places. University students have been asked to get in touch with the Dean of Students and Heads of concerned Departments for more information on resumption of offline classes and COVID protocols.
