Now, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has also praised Rinku’s big-hitting skills. Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Harbhajan said that Kolkata has seen a change of guard as Rinku has been the X-factor for KKR this season and not Andre Russell. Apart from this, Harbhajan also predicted that Rinku can play for India in future.
He said, ‘Now Rinku has become the X-factor for KKR, not Russell. Russell’s era is gone. Now is Rinku’s time. Even if Rinku is sent up, he can do justice to his role. He is a player of different caliber and we will soon see the India cap on his head.

The fact that Rinku can play the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Mathisha Pathirana is a testament to his immense talent.
If Kolkata have to end the season well, Rinku will have to perform well against Lucknow as well.
