At a bomb shelter in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, a middle-aged woman quietly said she was very scared. “It is a sea of ​​terror. I am very scared,” she told 19-year-old local reporter Mikhailo Kutovi.

The bomb shelter set up by civilians is located at a site being attacked by Russian airstrikes. People of all ages, including young children, are living in the shelter.

Local volunteers provide them with food, medicines, water and other essentials.

“This place is safe. Volunteers support us and bring us food and water. We are all supporting each other in this difficult situation. We believe in our people and our country and our will,” she said .
