ITC Foods business expands global footprint to over 50 countries – Times of India

New Delhi: FMCG-to-Tobacco Chief, ITC Exported its Indian food brands to over 50 countries during FY21, at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic was spreading across the country.
Under the leadership of its Ashirwad Atta, several brands of the Kolkata-headquartered group saw increasing demand in global markets including the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, UAE, Saudi Arabia and others.
Apart from Ashirwad flour, products like Ashirwad Swasti Ghee, Ashirwad Salt, Sunfeast Biscuit, Sunfeast Yippie! Noodles and Sunfeast Milkshakes, Mad Angles and Tedhe Medhe Snacks, Kitchen Ambiente of India Ready to Eat / Ready to Cook, Kitchen of India Frozen Snacks, b natural juice, Sunbean Beaten Coffee Paste The company in its latest annual report said that strong demand was also observed.
While Ashirwad Atta is present in almost all the countries of export, ITC is now focusing on expanding the international franchise of Sunfeast range of biscuits.
It is mandatory for all ITC businesses to engage with overseas markets to test and demonstrate international competitiveness. Exports of ITC, which aims to generate foreign exchange earnings for the country, grew to around $7.3 billion in 10 years.
