It was not easy for the Sur Sapta actress to keep a happy face just for the sake of her husband.
In an interview, Abhinay Bhave revealed how he navigated the toughest times of his life.
The year 2022 has not been so kind to Marathi actress Abhigya Bhave. After dating for 15 years, Abhigya tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Mehul Pai on January 6, 2021. The next year was supposed to be a happy phase for the couple. However, fate had different plans for them, as Mehul was diagnosed with cancer in December 2021. Abhinaya was devastated after learning about her husband’s health condition. Nevertheless, she mustered up the courage to be a strong pillar of support for him. A cursory glance at her Instagram feed will reveal a lot of posts where she leaves no stone unturned to please Mehul. It was not easy for the Sur Sapta actress to keep a happy face just for the sake of her husband.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Abhigya Bhave revealed how she navigated the most difficult times in her life. She said, “I will not say that we survived, but we survived every day. This was the time when you knew the importance of life. We live in a materialistic world where we give so much importance to materialistic things , but I think you really understand what you really want in life and what it doesn’t mean to you. Happiness doesn’t give. It’s the journey within. You know, we have to see ourselves What time is it and what are we doing in life.
Abhigya continued, “It was terrifying because you wouldn’t even dream of such a dream. Physically, it was terrifying, like I can’t express in words how I felt. It was so scary. I think it Broke me in a way that really made me discover how much I had stopped being grateful for the very little things. It tested our thinking, our positivity, our faith. Having said that, it tested my trust in God Broke it too.
However, with their constant emotional support and proper medical treatment, Mehul has now recovered. Abhigya concludes by saying that their bond has become stronger by being together during Mehul’s recovery from cancer.
Meanwhile, on the work front, actress Jaggu will play the female lead in Ani Juliet. The upcoming film is scheduled to release in February this year. It is expected that more details about the film will be revealed soon.
