After Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said Twitter has blocked his account, Shashi Tharoor, who is the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology, said he would seek an explanation from Twitter India.
Tharoor tweeted, “As the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology, I can say that we thank @rsprasad from @TwitterIndia and the rules and procedures to be followed by them during the closure of my accounts and operations in India. Will ask for clarification about this.”
