The hospital’s abdominal transplant medical director shares his thoughts with WISN on how to help eliminate long waiting lists for kidney transplants. “Donating is very safe and if people go ahead they can definitely eliminate the waiting list on the kidney side. It is a recovery process of about six weeks for both Bajwa and Hudson, said Dr. Ajay Sahajpal. Health officials say both are recovering after successful surgery. He didn’t give me what he gave me.
